Deceased Name: OTT, NOVA MAE GILL SPEARS

A resident of Osyka, Miss., she died at 3 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997, 
at St. Helena Parish Hospital, Greensburg. She was 83 and a native of 
Sunny Hill. Visiting at Greenlaw Baptist Church, Greenlaw, 6 p.m. to 9 
p.m. Sunday, and 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Monday, 
conducted by the Rev. Eddie Shoemaker and the Rev. Pete Eubanks. 
Interment in Osyka Cemetery, Osyka. Survived by two sons and 
daughters-in-law, June Austin Sr. and Ruth Spears, Kentwood, and James 
M. and Sue Spears, Osyka; a brother, Quincy D. Gill, Tylertown, Miss.; 
12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. 
Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Ott; father, Monroe Gill; mother, 
Effie Strahan Gill Mashon; and a sister, Vera Gill. McKneely Funeral
