I really have no interest or concern in who reads or uses the information on that page. If I had a problem with that, I wouldn't have put the webpage up in the first place, or make it available for others to stumble across. I had other things in mind to wind them up even further, but since they stopped calling, I can't use them. It doesn't matter, because based on the large, and growing, number of debt collectors, and their demonstrated levels of competence, I'm certain I'll get some more misdirected calls in the future, and I'll be able to inflict those techniques on those other callers. So watch that space. Or maybe not, as I may or may not publish anything else on the subject. WAR PS: The boilerplate at the bottom of your email: >This email contains information which is confidential and/or is privileged. >The information contained herein is intended only for the use of the >individual or entity named above. If you are not the intended recipient, >you are hereby notified that any disclosure, copying, distribution, or the >taking of any action in reliance on the contents of this email is strictly >prohibited and this email should be immediately deleted. Please notify us >by return email if this email was not sent to its intended recipient is defective. Hmmm, let's see: We know that SMTP (the transfer protocol for email) is not secure and is not securable, and yet we are reckless enough to send email which contains information which we know to be confidential and/or privileged across an unsecure and unsecurable medium. We would like to assert that the information contained herein is intended only for the use of the individual or entity named above. If you are not the intended recipient, you are hereby notified that we would like you to believe that any disclosure, copying, distribution, or the taking of any action in reliance on the contents of this email is strictly prohibited and this email should be immediately deleted, but we know that in the absence of a pre-existing contract between us and you which requires these actions on your part, all we're doing here is blowing hot air. We hope you would do the right thing and to please notify us by return email if this email was not sent to its intended recipient, but we know that's entirely up to you, and that we have no recourse if you don't. Much better.
